Renfrew Collective specialises in providing accessible performance platforms for exciting new work based in Scotland. We use themed events to showcase material and people in a way that's original, affordable, and groundbreaking.
About Us
Renfrew Collective was founded in 2017, by writer and performer Bethany Tennick. She saw friends and colleagues struggle to afford to go and see new work, and those same people struggle to find a suitable platform in which to share their own work.
The first ever event- 'Come for the Cake, Stay for the Music'- saw these friends (plus a few special guests) taking to a small acoustic stage on Renfrew Street in Glasgow, Scotland, to share their work in a welcoming and warm environment- thus the Renfrew Collective was born.
Since then we have expanded to Musical Theatre Cabarets, Scratch Nights, and so much more. We've collected a pool of artists, performers, and collaborators who share and experience their work together.
